Submissions and Book Reviews

Christians in Political Science invites submissions from its members for publication on this website and, occasionally, in our quarterly newsletter. All sub-disciplines of political science are welcome. Submissions include essays, reflections, and book reviews. We do not offer peer-review at this time, but all submissions will be subject to copy-editing and editorial review.

Given our organizational status, no piece will be accepted that explicitly endorses a candidate for public office or advocates for the passage of legislation at any level of government.

Submissions should be sent to communications@christiansinpoliticalscience.com and adhere to following guidelines:

Submissions must be submitted as Microsoft Word documents, we cannot accept PDFs or alternative formats at this time

  • Book reviews can range from 800 to 3,000 words and essays/reflections range from 1,500-5,000. Citations are required for articles and are optional for essays and book reviews.

  • Use 12-pt, Times New Roman or Calibri Font

  • 1 inch margins

  • Left-alignment (no tab paragraph breaks).

  • Leave only one space after periods.

  • Punctuation inside quotations

  • Use single quotation marks only in double quotations
